How to Make a Russia's Little Faucet Cosplay Weapon
You'll poke your eyes out smacking each other with weapons. My a friend had a fake sword fight with wooden
swords with a good friend and got literally stabbed in the eye. She suffered cornea damage, and we had to put
antibiotic ointment in her eye several times a day so it would heal and surgery would not be necessary to remove
the eye. Luckily, her eye did heal, but she suffered corneal scarring and now wears glasses.
Try and think of your cosplay weapons as accessories. Even people skilled at fencing use masks and other protective gear.
Now keeping that in mind, I found a link of a cosplayer as Russia and the weapon he apparently made. That might give you some ideas.

Advice On Making Neru Akita's Hair Piece
Here are my experience on making Neru Akita's Hair Piece.
Get some fabric. For me, I recommend felt, it's less floppy than some others and not transparent. You of course want black and blue. Although I guess if you made your Neru costume, you could use leftovers from that, too. Make a strip of black fabric, then make a strip of blue that will fit nicely in the middle. You can use glue or sew it into the center. Then I suggest using a sewing machine to sew it evenly into a loop. :) To attach it, I suppose you could use a bobby pin or two, or even a discreet clip. It won't float magically like Neru's but it should turn out pretty well otherwise!
Hope you can use my adice.

What Character You Choose to Cosplay
It is wrong if you want to find a character similar to you to do cosplay no matter body shape or skin color. As a matter of fact, it doesn't matter what you look like, just cosplay who you like! The point of cosplay is to not look like you but to look like the character. That's why you wear stage makeup, color contacts, and wigs.
Personally, I would never copslay a character with revealing clothes because it wouldn't suit me. Also, not everyone can afford to buy that stuff. Wigs are expensive. It also doesn't matter to me what colour eyes the character has. I cosplay whoever I want, so long as I have the right costume and hair (though I use wigs most of the time) it doesn't matter to me what colour eyes the character has. But if you were really picky, you could change it digitally on the photo.
So if you have any ideas, please share with us on my blog.

How to Make Wolf Ear and Tail Yourself
It is easy to make the wolf ear and tail youself. Take a look below from my experience.
1.Use a wire clothes hanger.... for the ears. This is how I would do it if I were you. Take an old head band... not the fabric ones but the hard ones.
2. I would take a wire hanger and unbend its form and reform them to look like ears... then attach the wire to the head band. I would try to use some old socks to cover them and maybe paint them.
3. Tail .... hmmmm I would suggest to use an old jump rope... put a hole in the bottom of your costume to put the rope through... you may have to spray paint it but that's about it.... one it won't trip people and you can hold it if you want...cut it as short or long as you want it.
I hope this will help you........

Tips to Cosplay Deidara
Recently, my a friend who is a cosplay fan asked me to give some advice about her cosplay as Deidara. She didn't know what nail polish should i wear Black or Dark purple? And Could she just add a slash to my konoha head protector and cover the sybol and leaving the slash visible right?
Personally, i love black nail. Of course, it i up to you on that one, but that would be fine. Just make sure you stay in character. There is nothing wores than Deidara acting like a Sakura. And you should also try to draw the mouths on your hands. If you could find a dove toy or statue of some sort, you should bring that as well.
If you have more ideas, so glad to leave your comments on my blog and I will share with all, so waiting......

How to Boost Your Height for Cosplay
Recently, my friend told me she is planning on doing an Assassin'creed cosplay, most likely Altair. Anyways, all the characters are pretty tall, yet she is only 5'3/5'4. And since the game is in a time era before high platform shoes, she can't use those. So she worried how to boost her height a few inches.
Actually, you can try insoles, also called shoe lifts, to add 1-2 inches. Any more than that may be uncomfortable, but you can be the judge of that.
Otherwise, Make a sling that fits around the bottom of your chin. Tie it around something high and strong and hang yourself. Of course, you are not really hanging yourself, you still will have your feet lightly on the ground, but it will s t r e t c h you out. Hey, Barney Fife did it and it worked, so you know it has to be true.

Tips On How to Braid Her Hair on Your Wig
Many copslayers worry and don't know how to braid hair on wig. Actually, it is easy.
I wouldn't worry about braiding the hair, I'd just wrap/braid white tape (bandaid tape/white cloth) over the two long strands of hair and tie the end of the hair which was left unwrapped around the ring.
I've actually never "tied" hair around something before so i dont know if that really works but perhaps a smarter ideal would be to get some clear hair ties and use that to hold the hair together after you've looped the ring through it.
What Characters You Want to Cosplay As in Bleach and Naruto Manga
Firstly, I think you ou have to consider the character that suits your physical attributes. It doesn't matter if it is a boy or a girl, because when you are at cosplay, you are portraying the character so if your good at it, you can easily be the anime you want people to recognize. There are certain features that you can easily fake such as hair color, eye color.. but you can't fake the height, body structure.. so to make the portrayal more realistic you to consider these.
Orihime Inoue is a good choice, just make sure to get a wig or temporary hair color that matches her hair if you are not of the same hair color and look for a school uniform costume which is fairly easy to find or even make from your own wardrobe.
The Soul Reaper with his long black straight hair in a ponytail, and simple kimono with a toy samurai.
If you are into mysterious looking characters, then the half-covered or make that 3/4 face of Kakashi Hatake would be a nice touch. You can have your long hair kept and just show the ends, make them stick out with a super hold gel. And of course the color.
Sakura Haruno with her pink short hair, is also a cute choice. And her clothes are not very fancy... and you can easily cut and put together your costume.

How to Cosplay As Light From Death Note
As the main protagonist in Death Note, Light is well-known as he firstly discovers the Death Note which can be used to kill criminals. He is extremely intelligent, confident yet bored young man. Frequently, light cosplay has been seen in many cosplay activities. However, when starting Death Note Light Cosplay, some tips should be kept in mind.
Light doesn’t dress as casually as most guys his age, so you would go with a shirt and tie and dress slacks, and maybe a suit jacket slung over your shoulder. Comb your hair like his, or get a light brown wig you can style if your hair is dark, because he doesn't really have a distinctive look. Your prop will be the most important thing. You should certainly carry a Death Note, or you can get notebooks made to look like Death Notes from a lot of anime dealers.
Actually, Light has normal "white guy hair" so I think you don't need a wig, unless your hair is really curly.

How to Save Money When Doing Cosplay
Many cosplayers prefer to make their costumes in order to save more. Indeed, it is good choice to make as much items as you can to save money. Rather than going to the shops or online to buy costumes, You would make as much items that you can. After doing so, the rest which are hard to make can be bought. Lots of cosplayers often make all of it if possible beacuse sometimes, cosplay item are fairly expensive.
Here are a few tips:
1. Find a character that's easy, such as same hair color and style, simple clothing etc.

A Girl, Still Can Cosplay As Kaito From Vocaloid?
As all know, Kaito is a nice male character in Vocaloid, who is only my favorite Vocaloid. I would like to cosplay as him. However, I am a girl, and to say the least, I am NOT flat chested. Moreover, I don't want to copslay as Kaito, the girl version, but as kaito himself. I would like to do well at cosplaying him.
With the help of my friends, and forum reminder, two ways proven is really useful:
Firstly, What I do is to wear a cheap Tanktop and get someone to Saran wrap me. It getts you nice and flat and it’s not as bad on you back as Ace (Ace doesn't work that well anyway), though it is really kinda hot. No pain no Gain i guess. Don't worry I Cosplay as Guys all the time and im a solid C cup.
Secondly, how "not-flat" are you? The binding still can work. And then choose a big size Kaito costume which is loose-fitting and make you unnoticeable.

Super "Loli" Maid Cosplay
With a touch of Loli and lovely appearance, maid cosplay gets great cheers from many girls all the time. When seeing a girl dressing up in a maid, whether you are impetuous to have a coffee even though coffee is never your hobby?
Speaking of maid cosplay, I think it is necessary to know about more or less its history or origination. The term "maid" must make you associate with service. Indeed, although there are no accurate time when maid cosplay started, originated in Akihavara, Tokyo, Japan around the year 1999, cosplay restaruants including maid cafes or butler cafe greatly help promote maid cosplay. In all maid cafes, the service staff dress as elegant maids, and they treat the customers as masters and mistresses in a private home rather than merely as cafe customers. Since then, dressing up in a maid is adored by more and more people, and maid cosplay also started to debut in many copslay shows and even competition.
In the matter of maid costume, many people usually compare it with lolita dress as some loli elements such as ruffle, small bowtie and headdress seen in maid costume. As a matter of fact, a difference between them is that maid cosplayers aim at to get fun or entertainment and put less emphasis on the costume quality and however lolis always should look classy and elegant with the requirement of dress crafted carefully. Otherwise, maybe in order to comply with the identity of maid, the delicate lace and ribbon are always not found in maide costume, or less.
